Advantage SBS is headquartered in Katy, Texas and is a leading Administrative Services Organization servicing small and mid-sized businesses throughout the United States. From processing payroll and filing quarterly tax payments to administering employee benefits and workers' compensation, Advantage SBS gives its clients relief from administrative processes so they can focus on running their business.
We are expanding our market and are seeking energetic, confident and competitive individuals to market internal and partner insurance solutions to businesses. Daily responsibilities will include:
1. Communice daily with partners to discuss current prospects and solutions needed.
2. Contact and qualify prospective clients by telephone and in person, and explains features and merits of policies offered, recommending amount and type of coverage based on analysis of prospect's risk characteristics. Obtain underwriting information from clients. Apply to insurance carriers on behalf of prospective clients for desired insurance solutions. Receive quotes from insurance carriers and/or partners and call prospects to deliver quotes and explain policy details. Suggest additions or changes to insurance program. Develop long-term relationships with payroll sales associates and insurance carrier underwriters.
- Prior business to business sales experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication and customer relations skills
- Demonstrated sales aptitude; assertive, persistent, good listener, self-motivated, excellent closing skills
- Well organized with highly effective time and activity management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Mature and self confident with the ability to work under pressure
- Must be goal-oriented; must be able to reach and exceed monthly/yearly quotas
- Excellent systems literacy knowledge in MS Office, Excel, Word, Internet
- Ability to utilize keyboard/PC to capture in a dynamic way, customer discovery
- Able to work independently as well as with a team
- P&C and/or Life & Health License Required
This is a full-time position located at our corporate headquarters in Katy, TX.
Bachelors Degree is preferred.
